D.H. Salon | Linking Ecosystems and Embarking on a New Journey—Theme Event "Global Investment Opportunities and Compliance Advancement in New Energy" Successfully Held

10 February 2026

As a member and one of the founding units of the DH Club, OLA participated in this D.H. Salon event. The event focused on core topics such as energy storage business models, global development, capital operations, and market risks, jointly promoting the construction of the ecosystem for the global expansion of new energy.

  • Analysis of Overseas Energy Storage Business Models

The discussion highlighted the market value and commercial pathways of grid-side energy storage, analyzing three major revenue sources: frequency regulation services, capacity markets, and electricity trading. It also pointed out that the policy environment is a key factor influencing project returns.

  • Key Legal Compliance Points for Enterprises Going Global

Emphasis was placed on the importance of intellectual property protection and compliance with overseas direct investment (ODI) filings. Enterprises were advised to establish overseas compliance systems in advance to systematically mitigate legal risks.

  • Risk Assessment for Overseas Investment

It was noted that "hard thresholds" such as policy stability, land acquisition, and grid access should be prioritized in investment decisions. Enterprises were recommended to focus on risk hedging rather than merely pursuing cost optimization.

  • Financing Trends in the New Energy Industry

Current financing trends show a concentration on leading enterprises and an increase in the scale of individual deals. Energy storage, new photovoltaic technologies, and hydrogen energy have become key areas of focus for capital, with opportunities for mergers and integration deserving attention.

  • Experience in Southeast Asian Market Expansion

Using Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia as examples, the discussion highlighted risks such as policy volatility and high localization requirements. It emphasized that deepening local cooperation and building mutual trust are key to market entry.

Finally, Wang Yong, Chairman of the D.H. New Energy Supply Chain Ecosystem, proposed a "six-in-one" global expansion strategy: driving investment through business, promoting trade through investment, advancing logistics through trade, supporting after-sales services through logistics, and achieving closed-loop recycling. He advocated for collaborative expansion, promoting the deep globalization of China’s new energy sector from "going global" to "integrating deeply."

The entire event provided a full-chain practical reference for new energy enterprises, covering compliance, financing, market expansion, and risk control, to support their steady progress in global expansion.
