Ocean Linking Agency (OLA) recently attended the 7th Future Energy Convention, an influential industry event themed "Transformative Innovation Future In Synergy." The convention served as a pivotal platform for in-depth exchanges on the core propositions of high-quality energy system development amid the global energy transition, with a focus on the essential principle that "Competition and Collaboration Coexist and Complement Each Other"—a concept that has resonated profoundly with industry peers and laid a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation.

Centering on the urgent needs of the global energy transformation, the convention’s thematic forums conducted in-depth discussions on three core topics of strategic significance: the dialectical relationship between inward-looking competition ("involution") and healthy market competition, the construction of efficient collaborative models to accelerate the energy transition process, and the path to realizing the organic integration of technological innovation and industrial chain synergy. During the discussions, OLA, together with other participating institutions, reached a key consensus: Against the backdrop of increasing global geopolitical uncertainties and the arduous task of achieving carbon neutrality, collaboration is no longer an optional supplementary measure, but an indispensable prerequisite and core driving force for breaking through development bottlenecks and realizing green transformation goals.

For enterprises engaged in the energy sector, the convention further clarified the direction of high-quality development: it is imperative to break the constraints of traditional single-industry and regional development models, and proactively promote cross-sector, cross-regional, and cross-industry strategic cooperation to build an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial sustainable development ecosystem. Specifically, this ecosystem should focus on three core dimensions:

    • First, advancing multi-energy complementarity to optimize the structure of energy supply and consumption;

    • Second, strengthening digital empowerment to improve the efficiency and intelligence level of the energy industry chain;

    • Third, consolidating brand trust to build a solid foundation for long-term stable cooperation.

As a proactive participant and promoter of the global energy transformation, OLA stated that it will take the insights and consensus gained from this convention as an important guide, further give play to its own advantages in resources, technology, and platforms, actively connect with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, and promote the transformation of the energy industry from disorderly competition to standardized and structured collaboration. In the future, OLA will continue to focus on technological breakthroughs and full-chain synergy, work with all sectors of society to unlock the potential of innovative development, and contribute more strength to the global achievement of carbon neutrality goals and the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system.
